New Story

Toasted Cheese Literary Journal has just published another story by James Steimle.

"Writer Incognito" was actually penned nearly a decade ago when James was working in the legal field.  At that time, coworkers who had purchased and been impressed with his fiction wondered why he continued with a "normal" day job.  One friend in particular asked James, "What are you doing here?"  While the words were flattering, James was busy feeding his young family during a stage of his writing development when one could not fairly describe literary stories as bread winners.

Since then, his literary tales have won multiple awards, been reprinted in one professional journal after another, and led to the publication of more than one of this novels.

Now you can enjoy "Writer Incognito" for free.  Visit Toasted Cheese Literary Journal today!

ANNOUNCING THE BIRTH OF JIM BLACKSTONE

Golden Acorn Press will release James Steimle’s science fiction thriller, Interference, with the new pen name Jim Blackstone.

Why use a pen name?  One obvious reason:  James Steimle writes stories and novels that span too broad a range.  Readers of a children’s novel might not be interested in a cerebral tale of nail-biting suspense, and vice versa.

In true multiple-personality-disorder and wildly imaginative form, Jim Blackstone will now take the helm as the writer of Science Fiction by James Steimle.  Of course, Jim Blackstone is James Steimle.  No secret there.  But we can always pretend that there is one!
